Overview

With an EDI connection, Wundermart's ordering system and yours exchange orders automatically, as XML files over SFTP. Wundermart sends you purchase orders for its shops, and you reply with order confirmations. No portal, email or manual entry is involved.

EDI is our preferred way to connect suppliers. We keep a copy of every message exchanged in both directions, so both sides can always trace what was ordered and confirmed. If you're starting a new integration, choose EDI over the Order API.

How it works

Wundermart                              Your SFTP server
     |                                        |
     |  order_<orderID>_<timestamp>.xml       |   1. Wundermart places an order
     | -------------------------------------> |      in your order folder
     |                                        |
     | order confirmation | 2. You confirm what you will
     | <------------------------------------- | deliver, in your reply folder
     |                                        |
     | despatch advice (opt.) | 3. Optionally, you report
     | <------------------------------------- |      the shipment

The SFTP server is yours: Wundermart connects to it to deliver orders and to collect your replies.

  • Changing or cancelling an order after it's sent.
  • Prices on orders: orders contain articles and quantities only.
  • Technical acknowledgements: Wundermart doesn't send a receipt for your files. A file that disappears from your reply folder has been collected.
