Preparing your site

What the hotel needs to arrange before a Wundermart shop can be installed. Share these requirements with the hotel early: internet and power must be ready on installation day.

Site

• Internet and power are ready and working according to the technical drawing. The hotel arranges this with its own internal or external team.
• The area is clean, accessible and fully prepared for installation.
• An electrician must be on site for all wiring. The installation team isn't allowed to do electrical work.

Payment terminal (POS)

• A wired internet connection within 1 metre of the terminal.
• At least 10 Mbit/s. Share a speed test result (e.g. speedtest.net) and the IP address with Wundermart.
• The kiosk uses the 192.168.1.x range internally, so the hotel network must hand out an IP address outside that range via DHCP.
• Confirm where the POS connection comes from: ceiling, wall or floor. The building partner then prepares a matching conduit.

Outgoing ports

The hotel's IT department or internet provider must not block these outgoing connections:

Fridges

• One power outlet per fridge.
• With more than one fridge, each fridge on a separate electrical circuit.

Double-sided shelving unit (mid-floor)

• One power outlet per unit. Confirm whether power comes from the ceiling, wall or floor.
