Overview

Starting a new integration? We recommend connecting through EDI instead. It's our preferred channel for suppliers. The Order API remains supported for existing connections.

The Order API connects a supplier's ordering system to the Wundermart platform. The integration is bidirectional: Wundermart sends you orders, and you call Wundermart back to confirm them and to report what you're shipping.

How it works

Wundermart ERP                         Your system
     |                                        |
     |  POST  {your order endpoint}           |   1. Wundermart places an order
     | -------------------------------------> |
     |  201  {"confirm": true}                |
     | <------------------------------------- |
     |                                        |
     | POST /api/v1/order/<uuid>/confirm/ | 2. You confirm you can deliver
     | <------------------------------------- |      (or confirm inline in the 201)
     |  204                                   |
     | -------------------------------------> |
     |                                        |
     |  POST  /api/v1/order/<uuid>/           |   3. You report the exact
     |        packing-slip/                   |      quantities being shipped
     | <------------------------------------- |
     |  204                                   |
     | -------------------------------------> |

The Order endpoint lives on your side: you build and host it, and Wundermart calls it. The Confirmation and Packing slip endpoints are hosted by Wundermart, and you call them.

Conventions

  • HTTPS and JSON only. Requests and responses are JSON (Content-Type: application/json).
  • Versioning. The version is part of the path (/api/v1/). Backward-compatible changes are made in place; breaking changes get a new version with its own documentation, and existing versions keep working. Only v1 exists today.
  • URLs. Use the URLs exactly as shown, including the trailing slash, with the order UUID in lowercase.
  • Dates and times. Dates are YYYY-MM-DD. Date-times are ISO-8601 in UTC, for example 2026-01-30T12:00:00.000Z.
  • Quantities are always in collo (order units), not consumer units.
